Job Description:
Leidos has an immediate need for an exciting Information Assurance Officer located in Warner Robins, GA.
Maintains and supports the integrity of system environment and various computer systems for a Department of Defense international program. Applies the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to the system network environment. Responsible for maintaining RMF System Records in DoD RMF data repositories: Enterprise Mission Assurance Support System (eMASS) and Xacta 360. Primary program interface to Air Force (AF) and Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity authorities: Security Control Assessor (SCA), Authorizing Official, Network Operations Security Center (NOSC) POCs.
Primary Responsibilities
Develops system and program artifacts required to maintain a current and active Authority-To-Operate (ATO) risk decision. Applies Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG) to network Information Technology (IT) assets. Performs and analyzes Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) network vulnerability scans and STIG compliance checks in the form of the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scans. Maintains the Ports, Protocols, and Services with the AF Registrar for each system. Submits Firewall Exemption Requests (FWERs) and DoD Whitelist Requests for new IT enclaves via the Air Force Remedy ticketing system. Will apply security engineering principles to future Information Technology (IT) strategies affecting the IT systems in the Special Projects Program Management Office and associated acquisition programs.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years cybersecurity experience or 8+ years of cybersecurity experience in lieu of degree.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI level clearance
Must comply with DoD 8140.01 Professional Certification requirements for an IAM\IAT Level III cybersecurity position.
Able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment. Translate technical solutions\problems to non-technical personnel. Ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
CISSP desired with an ISSEP concentration.
Familiarization with Visio, network security architectures, client-server network architectures, Microsoft Operating Systems (Win 10 and Server 2016/2019 families), CISCO IOS, General Dynamics KG-175 series of High Assurance Inline Protection Equipment (HAIPE) devices, and/or VMware.
