The Intelligence Division of Leidos has a career opportunity for a Junior Software Engineer with a TS/SCI polygraph clearance in Columbia, Maryland at the Leidos Facility.

Our Prototype Development Support program is looking for candidates with a strong mission focus to do new development and rapid prototyping. Someone who can figure out smarter, better ways to discover new targets or support mission analysis.

We have an exciting position that provides an opportunity for growth by working on a variety of tasking and technologies. Position requires a developer with the ability to work full-stack development and provide infrastructure tasking support. The candidate will be part of a small, end-to-end application development team that builds the UI, analytics, business rules, data ingest, processing and storage, and operations to automate workflow for mission tradecraft. The candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time on development and 20% on application infrastructure tasks.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of experience.  Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• At least 4 years of general experience in software development/engineering, computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Shall have at least 1 year of experience developing software with high level languages such as Java.

• Provide technical support in the design, development, implementation and testing of end-to-end application.

• Work with customer and team members to develop technical solutions that meet mission objectives.

• Perform application infrastructure tasks as needed.
