The EMS Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Systems Engineer to support the GSA DIGIT mission.
This position is a 100% telework opportunity and we are seeking candidates from across the contiguous United States.
Designing and developing solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
Perform systems management and integration functions.
Develop data and component modeling of customized information technology solutions for a wide variety of large systems to support GSA in IT modernization.
Provide Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) that includes governance issues as well as software deployments.
Develop technologies and architectural advancements.
Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations for best practices.
Process improvement experience. Ability to identify needed changes to processes and activities and help to implement continuous improvement solutions.
Prior experience reading and developing solutions to customer requirements.
Knowledge and experience with Services Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Experience with engineering strategies for new technologies and infrastructure processes.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Working knowledge of ITIL 4
Candidate must have a BS and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience
