Leidos Enterprise & Cyber Solutions Defense Group has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, SharePoint Administrator.  This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US AFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany.  This position is required to travel OCONUS. You must hold an active DOD Secret Clearance to qualify.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operating and maintaining multiple SharePoint farms and servers 

  • Standard patching and maintenance

  • Maintaining security compliance and implementing STIGs

  • Troubleshooting configuration problems and responding to outages 

  • Providing on call work as required - evenings and weekends. 

  • Demonstrating knowledge of all functionality of SharePoint Central Administration, Shared Services, Managed Metadata, Enterprise Services, STSADM commands, PowerShell scripting and how the services and functions affect the entire SharePoint farm.

  • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues with SharePoint web-based systems and content.

  • Assisting SharePoint Engineer with documentation including but not limited to, engineering design plans, system security plans, and standard operating procedures.  

  • Maintaining a consistent SharePoint farm architecture.  

  • Understanding SharePoint installation processes and perform scripted installations.

  • Providing assistance via remote access, phone, or in person.

  • Demonstrating excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as extensive experience with network hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity.  

  • Demonstrating customer service-oriented approach and ability to be proactive in anticipating and resolving problems, while maximizing efficient use of resources.

  • Demonstrating the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, be self-driven, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner.  

  • Ability to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.

  • Demonstrating experience interfacing with both client managers and system users.

  • Providing remote support and/or travel to customer sites as required.

Basic Qualifications
•    BA/BS and 5 years or AA/AS and 7 years, or a major certification and 9 years experience 
•    3 years recent specialized experience
•    Must hold and maintain active Secret Clearance
•    Must currently hold MCSA: Windows Server 2016 or greater
•    Must currently hold CompTIA CASP+ or Security+ CE | (IAT Level II or greater) 
•    Automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files 
•    Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 
•    Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server administration
•    TESA eligibility

Preferred Qualifications
•    ITIL v3 – Foundation
•    Microsoft Azure knowledge and certification
•    SharePoint online administration knowledge 
•    Experience working in VmWare ESXi environments 
•    Experience with PnP Powershell
•    Experience with DoD IT/ DISA security requirements
•    Experience with enterprise backup solutions 
•    Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs 
•    Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards 
•    Prior experience at a Joint Command
