Job Description:
Leidos has an opening for a Software Requirements Verification & Validation Tester in Suitland, MD. All work is on site in Suitland; a candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered for this role.
Primary Responsibilities
Based on user feedback, strategic priorities, goals and objectives you will provide requirements and corresponding test objectives in the form of Agile Scrum user stories. You will provide written regression test procedures and shall arrange test schedules for each MIE product as required. Toy will leverage your testing expertise on complex multi-tiered web-based applications and use your excellent communication skills to provide test results to product stakeholder and document test findings in test reports using software development management tools. Additionally, you will develop and deliver manuals, training materials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance analysts’ capabilities to conduct all-source maritime intelligence analysis. You will use Agile/Scrum techniques lead such team efforts as appropriate.
Basic Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance
BS and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience; additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
Experience in requirements development including Verification & Validation support testing
Practical testing expertise to include expert use of software applications, system analysis, web-based application testing, data verification, and script verification
Candidate must meet the requirements for the CSWF DoD program in accordance with SECNAV 5439.2 as required to work with DoD IT systems
Ability to develop graphics for support documentation
Active Scrum Master certification or willingness to receive prior to start
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to conceptualize, discuss and define Navy Intelligence Technology requirements based on all-source analyst business practices
Experience in preparation of test plans, procedures and reporting tools.
Experience coordinating use-case testing with a team of users and effectively translating findings to developers and other non-technical stakeholders.
Experience communicating effectively with team and translating technical knowledge into effective technical writing for non-technical end users.
Knowledgeable in the use of Confluence, Jira, and associated Atlassian tool-suites.
