The QRC Airborne ISR Systems Division of the Airborne Solutions Group of Leidos currently has an opening for a Logistics Specialist. Leidos is the primary stakeholder of logistics functions on several Aerial Intelligence platforms located in various CONUS and OCONUS operational areas. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the U.S. Armed forces and Special Operations Command supported by Leidos.
Primary Responsibilities
The Logistics Specialist will support the local property team, international logistics compliance, and logistics liaison officers by leading a variety of logistics tasks as required for successful contract performance. The Logistics specialist will be required to resolve unclear problems and issues drawing from prior experience, research, analysis and minimal guidance from the functional manager they are supporting.
Tasks may include but are not limited to:
Support the Logistics Compliance Manager in validating export information and managing parts catalog for accurate export information, submitting tech data reports, tracking PPE licenses and inventories and other compliance related tasks associated with exports/imports.
Support property team in disseminating and reconciling inventories for all Government Furnished Property (GFP) at Bridgewater Air Park (VBW) and customer sites.
Support liaison officers with organizing Bill of Material, submitting purchase orders, requesting quotes, and tracking purchases.
Support logistics database cleanup to synchronize parts catalog data.
Develop PCARSS disposition lists, coordinate scrap and asset turn in, complete turn in documentation, and update asset records for equipment.
Other logistics duties as assigned in response to contractual, mission, or manager requirements.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in logistics management functions (government property management, sourcing, procurement, warehousing, trade compliance, hazmat, COMSEC, supply)
Two (2) years of experience utilizing a Logistics database to manage workflows and reports.
Professional experience utilizing DoD forms and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
Professional writing experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent oral and written communication skills for collaborating with others, communicating to your supervisor, and speaking with customers or clients.
Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor Degree and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in Logistics Management Function.
Two (2) years of experience working in trade compliance, property management, or procurement for Department of Defense contractor.
