Job Description:
Leidos is seeking qualified candidates for an Insider Threat Engineering Specialist - Scrum Master in Springfield VA that will manage the planning and execution of Essential SAFe teams and processes. Scrum Masters assist the team in executing activities; facilitate communication between teams, and tracking interdependencies. Scrum masters coach and advise teams on tailoring and executing best practices.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coach teams in developing and maintaining processes and implementing best practices
Lead teams in conducting Agile team rituals to guide delivery of Features
Participate in team and program-level events
Ensure status in Jira is current
Facilitate cross team communication
Manage and resolve interdependencies
Provide process statistics and reporting
Define and improve processes
Customize Jira and Confluence
Participate in multi-functional teams and manage work through JIRA
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience. Additional relevant experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
TS/SCI level clearance is a hard requirement.
Possess a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in Project Management, Systems Engineering, or Development of Information Technology systems
Possess a minimum of one (1) years of experience in defining and managing work in an Agile process. For the purpose of this requirement, an Agile certification from Scrum.org, Scrum Alliance, Scaled Agile, or Project Management Institute, or similar organization will count as 1 year of experience.
Education as specified in Attachment J.3 of the Base IDIQ.
Possess one (1) year of experience customizing and managing either JIRA or an alternative Agile Project Management tool
Possess one (1) year of experience customizing and managing either Confluence, an alternative Knowledge Management tool, or web development
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified in Scrum Master certification (Certified Scrum Master, Certified SAFe Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master, or equivalent), SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE), SAFe® 4 Program Consultant (SPC), or a substantially similar intermediate to advanced Agile team or program management certification
