Job Description:

The Analyst will provide on-site tailored SIGINT products and services to the customer and support a working relationship between the customer and outside SIGINT partners. The Analyst will monitor all available SIGINT tools and databases for relevant counterterrorism (CT) highlights to provide timely updates of critical CT reporting. The Analyst will be required to cultivate effective working relationships with government customers, as well as with external SIGINT partners. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Act as a conduit between internal customers and external SIGINT organizations and offices
  • Proactively gather and synthesize all-source CT information to support development of tailored daily CT products that promote situational awareness with the customer and across the Intelligence Community (IC) and broader US Government
  • Monitor and evaluate existing collection streams, sources, and trends for opportunities and gaps in reporting
  • Collaborate with internal/external IC partners to address critical CT intelligence gaps
  • Provide feedback to SIGINT partners
  • Advise analysts on SIGINT matters and assist in navigating SIGINT-related issues
  • Manage and answer internal and external requests for SIGINT information
  • Engage and educate internal analysts and officers on SIGINT entities, organizations, requirements, operations, and the appropriate handling and use of SIGINT information
  • Take on new initiatives to leverage SIGINT support to customer as required
  • Provide expertise in dissemination, distribution, and release of IC reporting


  • Previous experience working with SIGINT reporting, databases, and tools is mandatory for this position
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of on-the-job experience working in a SIGINT role within the military or IC
  • Familiarity with SIGINT organizations, tools and databases, and culture is required
  • Previous military experience and/or exposure to Department of Defense reporting is mandatory
  • Understanding of various SIGINT offices and organizations and form relationships that can be leveraged for SIGINT support
  • Candidate must be able to work with little supervision or guidance
  • Candidate must be a self-starter, and take initiative to identify needs and drive own projects
  • Candidate must have excellent networking and communications skills
  • Candidate must be able to act as a liaison between organizations and facilitate effective communication and cooperation between with internal and external partners
  • Candidate must be able to effectively communicate subject matter expertise to officers with lesser SIGINT experience and train other Analysts
  • Candidate must have experience performing target research and analysis in an all-source environment and experience working with intelligence collection as it relates to CT issues
  • Broader experience supporting defense and intelligence enterprises and an understanding of different IC customer’s needs is desired
  • Experience working with key US foreign policy and national security CT objectives is desired
  • Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of applicable experience (additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a BS degree)
  • TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required
