Job Description:
The CIVIT division within Exploratory & Management Support (EMS) is looking for a self-motivated financial analyst to support the commercial IRS business. Successful candidate will need to be able to multi-task and work well with multiple project managers to complete financial responsibility on over 10 contracts. Preferably located in Gaithersburg, MD / Washington DC metro area with telework available.
Primary Responsibilities:
Budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of all contract cost and financial data
Monthly invoicing, funding deliverables and subcontract monitoring
Supporting customer meetings
Creating and presenting monthly internal and external customer reports
Supporting any ad hoc requests by internal management and external customers
Ability to work independently, or in a team environment and with various organizational levels
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent analytical skills, able to identify financial drivers and perform high level and detailed analysis
Good communication skills both verbally and written to clearly provide detailed analysis.
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and less than 2 years of experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Government Program Finance experience
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.
