Job Description:
The Homeland Security Solutions Operation within Leidos is seeking Product Technical Leads to be servant-leaders for multiple product teams that are responsible for developing, operating, and maintaining mission critical products within the Passenger Systems Program Directorate (PSPD) Interface and Support Processes division within Customs and Border Protection (CBP). PSPD supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and CBP critical missions, specifically screening and processing travelers at the ports of entry (POEs) into the United States.
In this hands on position, you will work collaboratively with your CBP counterpart and stakeholders to define the future direction of products you are responsible for while working with the individual product teams to ensure their understanding of the future direction. You will work with your product teams to assist with removing impediments that are impacting team performance while also assisting teams as needed with risk mitigation activities.
You will be responsible for ensuring teams have the necessary skills and staff to deliver capabilities mutually agreed upon with your CBP counterpart and within scope of the approved task order. You will work closely with the portfolio manager and Leidos program leadership team to ensure financial success and respond promptly to CBP issued task orders. Finally, you will work with your individual product teams to maintain a high-level of employee engagement, establish individual performance objectives and evaluate individual performance through regular touchpoints.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Design, develop ,test and modify Business Objects 4.2 universes reports and dashboards.
•Perform data analysis on input and output data using available tools and solve any data related queries.
•Experience in dimensional data modelling to design data warehouse and data marts.
•Strong Knowledge of relational databases, data warehousing and business intelligence tools.
•Coordinate regularly with CBP counterpart and stakeholders to define the future direction of products you are responsible for and respond promptly to concerns/issues raised by CBP.
•Serve as a technical SME to assist the product teams with resolving difficult problems.
•Work with individual product teams to ensure their understanding of future direction.
•Act as a servant-leader to product teams to ensure their success.
•Ensure product teams have the necessary skills and staff to deliver capabilities as mutually agreed upon with your CBP counterpart and within the scope of the approved task order.
•Review task orders associated with products you are responsible for and provide estimates to deliver features/capabilities associated with the task order.
•Reflect Leidos leadership values and maintain a high-level of employee engagement
•Establish individual performance objectives and evaluate individual performance against objectives through regular touchpoints.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other closely related field with 8-12 years of relevant experience or 6-10 years of relevant experience with Master’s degree.
•Applicants must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a CBP BI public trust clearance.
•Proven experience working with government stakeholders and product owners to meet customer needs and effectively communicating concerns, risks, etc. to government clients.
•Experience with refinement and prioritization of product backlogs.
•At least 2 years of experience as a servant-leader/technical lead ensuring the success of 1-2 product teams, i.e., 10-20 employees.
•Minimum of 3 years of software development experience in an Agile/SecDevOps environment with proven ability to deliver on commitments. Software development experience should include many of the following technologies:
•Design, develop ,test and modify Business Objects 4.2 universes reports and dashboards.
•Perform data analysis on input and output data using available tools and solve any data related queries.
•Experience in dimensional data modelling to design data warehouse and data marts.
•Strong Knowledge of relational databases, data warehousing and business intelligence tools.

•Demonstrated experience facilitating changes in processes to improve team efficiency.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
•Active CBP BI
•Experience with one or more products within CBP PSPD
•Experience utilizing SAFe to deliver capabilities to government clients
•Familiarity with and prior use of test automation, e.g., Selenium, Citrus
•Experience as a developer within the AWS environment or as a technical lead within the AWS environment is a plus; prior experience with Oracle RDS
•Experience with Business Objects, Informatica, and/or MarkLogic
•Certified SCRUM Master and Product Owner
•PMP Certification
