Leidos is seeking a logistics program analyst to provide assistance to our logistics team supporting the nation's nuclear deterrence mission with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Defense Programs.
This position is responsible for assisting our customer to account for the technical and analytical deliverables that support life cycle management activities and acquisition logistics necessary to optimize the nation’s nuclear weapons programs. Technical analysis of logistical requirements helps determine optimum courses of action and formulate a solid framework to support acquisition logistics that optimize the nation’s nuclear weapons programs.
The person who fills this position must have an analytical mind and experience with assessing and reporting on programs and processes associated with logistics management.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a clear understanding of the program mission and assist the federal program manager to review acquisition logistics policies, processes, and requirements and track compliance.
Provide technical assistance in the coordination of program meetings, reports, presentations, and other confidential materials.
Review submissions from the nuclear enterprise sites and provide technical analysis of requirements, requests, and products.
Solve problems and act quickly to resolve issues.
Basic Qualifications
At least 8 years of experience that includes:
Working in support of the National Nuclear Security Administration.
Organizing and tracking information.
Developing excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
Active DOD TS and/or DOE Q clearance.
