Leidos has an immediate opening for an Engagement and Capture Operations Manager responsible for ongoing engagement with Business Development, capture teams and Group leadership to ensure compliant execution of the Leidos Win Plan on strategic captures.
Specifically, communicates with capture and proposal leadership, Senior Management and Executives, tracks and verifies that Win Plan milestones are incorporated logically into capture plans, recorded in enterprise IT systems, and fully conducted in a timely manner. Identifies and implements capture and proposal improvement opportunities to streamline engagement efforts and improve support levels to the broader organization. Create and manage CO&E portfolio of support services to Corporate and Group strategic captures. Develop, implement and oversee a resource management system to provide consolidated capture resource needs, activities and status with reporting and analysis. Responsible for ensuring CO&E policies are documented and adhered to while working with appropriate functional leaders. Manage and disseminate key capture, BD and proposal metrics and respond to data analysis requests. Critical to key Operations initiatives including leading special projects for CO&E SVP and BD&S EVP as well as leading development programs like the BDLP program.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Builds trusted partnerships with BD&S Executive leadership, capture teams and internal Group stakeholders
- Builds strong working relationships across the Enterprise to enable swift response to BD&S Operations Initiatives
- Program leadership of the BDLP program
- Supports the development and ongoing refinement of standard BD&S policies and procedures
- Identifies, quantifies, and implements improvement opportunities to improve overall operational efficiency, visibility into captures, and increased use of CO&E resources and tools
- Implement and manage a Resource Management Tool to track capture status, activities and resources while working with functional managers to ensure accurate inputs
- Develop and distribute CO&E Portfolio reports
- Utilizes effective change management tools to encourage adherence to policies when needed
- Organizes/manages multiple priorities including flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business need
- Manage day to day activities of Operations Analyst.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years applicable experience.
- Strong professional, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to explore and solve problems, and be willing to work constructively across teams
- Ability to work independently to accomplish established goals
- Ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of high-quality material with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management.
- Experience with the execution of Leadership Development Programs and/or Intern Programs
- Experience with strategy development
- Proficiency Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft SharePoint, and ability to learn new applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of the WinPlan and familiarity with additional BD&S processes/rhythms
- Experience with the execution of Leadership Development Programs and/or Intern Programs
