Leidos is seeking one Software Engineer for a position in the Mclean, VA area. This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph in order to be considered. This software engineer will provide immediate development support for mission-critical projects and assist with a SharePoint and Lotus Notes legacy migration to the cloud. The developer will provide Agile-based, front- and back-end support for interface development, tool building, automation, and application maintenance to improve existing systems during the transition. Responsibilities will include maintaining existing software to correct errors, analyzing user needs to determine feasible designs within time constraints, providing weekly project status updates, and consulting with leaders to communicate project status and identify technical issues.
Requires BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
Demonstrated experience designing user interfaces using HTML and CSS.
Demonstrated experience as a SharePoint SCA.
Experience programming using Python.
Experience working in the AWS environment.
Experience working with DevOps.
Experience working with relational database platforms such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL or SQL Server.
Experience developing software that uses APIs.
Experience running SQL queries.
Experience using SQL functions.
Experience migrating legacy systems, such as SharePoint and Lotus Notes Applications, to new application frameworks.
Experience using operating systems such as Linux or Unix.
Engineering experience working with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
