The Leidos Defense and Intelligence Group currently has an opening for a Personal IT Devices System Administrator to work in our Springfield, Virginia locations. This is an exciting opportunity to use your leadership skills helping the Information Technology Enterprise Managed Services (ITEMS) User Facing Services (UFS) mission at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). In this mission, we provide NGA with a bridge to the future, strengthening critical ISP services to mission users, harnessing the capacity of current and emerging Intelligence Community Information Technology Enterprise (IC ITE) services, and delivering the Power of GEOINT into the hands of users supporting critical time-sensitive missions. Our team operates and sustains UFS for NGA, provide continuous improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of UFS, implement special orders to rapidly support mission needs without disrupting daily operations and posture NGA to transition to future IC DTE service offerings.
This PITD System Administrator assists the program in providing multiple mobile solutions for Continuity of Operations, Crisis Support, First Response, Technical Support, to local and deployed personnel allowing for real-time communications and collaboration both CONUS and OCONUS..
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide labor and materials including moves, adds, changes, remedial maintenance, configuration, documentation, vendor interface and recapitalization in support of the following devices:
Smartphones: Wireless devices issued both CONUS and OCONUS and in support of crisis and contingency planning providing NGA with the ability to access unclassified email from locations world-wide
Pagers: Devices issued to NGA personnel for “receive only” notification when they are away from their assigned workspace providing latitude for mobility throughout the SCIF where other wireless devices are prohibited.
Basic cell phone (i.e. Flip Phones): Devices issued to NGA personnel for notification when they are away from their assigned work space, provide latitude for mobility world-wide
Government Emergency Telecommunications Service cards and Wireless Priority Service Cards (GETS/WPS Card): Issued to NGA personnel to provide the capability to make calls during times of crisis and for contingency planning.
Laptops: Devices issued to NGA personnel providing the ability to access NGA’s unclassified network (SBU) from any location CONUS or OCONUS.
Additionally, the laptops are used for conferences, meetings, and classroom environments.
Removable Media (RM): Devices such as CD/DVD/Blu-ray burners, external hard drives, flash drives, SD cards, etc. fall under the category of Removable Media.
PITD Technicians are responsible for the full life cycle management of all NGA asset considered RM.
This includes identification (bar-coding), inventory, issuance, and end-of-life (EOL) disposal.
Guides successful completion of major programs and infrastructure improvements; functions in a project leadership role to ensure timely execution, efficient governance of resources and technical execution.
Inventory, configuration, issuance, and return-to-inventory procedures for the following equipment:
Laptops
Smartphones
Cell Phones (flip phones)
Pagers
iPads
Tablets (Classified)
RSA Tokens
CAC Readers
GETS/WPS Cards
Removable Media
CD/DVD/Blue-Ray Drives
External Hard Drives
CD/DVD/Blue-Ray Disks
SD Cards
Flash Drives
Imaging, configuration, and troubleshooting of classified and unclassified laptops and tablets.
Creation of Asset Delivery Reports (ADR’s) and Asset Found Reports (AFR’s) in People soft for newly acquired assets.
Attend meetings/briefings with contractor and government personnel
Brief senior NGA leadership and UFS management on the status of the PITD program
Basic Qualifications:
Current DoD 8570 Certification, primary certification is Security+
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain polygraph.

Proficiency with Windows OS, MS Office, SCCM, Active Directory, DNS, and MS Exchange Server
Education & Experience:
Requires Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
Experience in lieu of degree.
