Job Description:
Leidos is seeking an Solutions Architect - SME with a TS/SCI with Polygraph to work on an intelligence community IT contract in the Reston/Herndon/Chantilly, VA, area. The Solution Architect will support the Network Task Order and is responsible for providing technical leadership and oversight to deliver an innovative network solution that addresses the customer's requirements. The Solutions Architect will work with Task Order leaders and the Task Order Architects to ensure the developed approaches and solutions follow appropriate Software and System Engineering tools and guidelines for the program. Additionally, the Solutions Architect will provide comprehensive leadership, network oversight, analytical, and technical support services required to drive and deliver a broad range of innovative IT solutions and professional services across the customer enterprise.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides technical advice/input that impact strategic client outputs and Leidos business results.
- Impacts functional strategy by developing and managing new solutions, processes, standards or operational plans
- Serves as a technical lead for the Network Task Order
- Mentors and coaches other technical staff within the Task Order
- Works in a coordinated effort with other Solution Architects on the PHX2 Program
- Communicates and interfaces with customer and Leidos Program Management, Technical leads and Subject Matter Experts to provide Program status and to jointly present, lead, and work program issues, and technical solutions.
- Ensure that assessment of new work requests are technical sound, properly sized, and submitted on time to the customer per the required contractual delivery date.
- Leads the technical aspects of the network team by providing oversight to deploy highly innovative products/solutions, achieved through collaboration and dialogue with other experts in program
- Communicates with senior executive leadership (internally or client) regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization/project.
- Ensures trust in the program management and customer to negotiate, compromise, and convince internal and external parties to accept concepts, practices and approaches within the technical area
Basic Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- Requires BA+17 or Masters +15 years of experience or Doctorate +13 years of experience.
- Experience can be used in lieu of degree.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and management to include presentation and experience discussing technology at the highest levels
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience identifying, developing, and implementing engineering change solutions and new technology and solutions on a large enterprise national scale
- Project management experience for large enterprise level projects and proposals to include labor and workload estimation up to $500M
- Demonstrated experience in all phases of a project lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to work in a customer environment collaboratively through constraints to meet mission milestones
