Job Description:
The Products and Manufacturing branch of the Leidos Innovations Center has an entry level opening for an Assembler to work in our San Diego, CA facility. This is an exciting opportunity to use your technical skills to support first responders and border agents in contraband interdiction and inspection products. Advancement opportunity in assembling engineering prototypes to help mature Leidos technical innovations in preparation for production.
Primary Responsibilities
- Follow work instructions/test procedures to produce assemblies and products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve routine problems.
- Collaborate with support staff.
- Use basic hand and power tools.
- Contribute to process and product improvement.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical instincts or knowledge
- Oral and written communication skill
- Patience to follow instructions
Preferred Qualifications
- Some knowledge of electronics.
- Skill with Microsoft Office suite.
- Able to read engineering drawings.
