Leidos is looking for a high-performing candidate to fill a position supporting the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Strategic Planning and Analysis as a senior supply chain management analyst on a small team supporting the Office Director.
In this position, you would be responsible for assisting a Senior Federal Official to monitor and evaluate the industrial base/supply chain that supports the nuclear weapons components, subsystems, materials, including the consistent monitoring of the current status of the industrial base, tracking of the industrial base issues over time, and proactively identifying gaps or risks in specific areas related to the supply chain or industrial base. Using your expertise in supply chain management, risk management, and systems engineering you will report on a large scale across the nuclear security enterprise and respond quickly to real and posited work scope changes, variances, and action levels with accurate analysis and documentation. You will work closely and develop professional working relationships with team members and experts located locally and across the entire nuclear security enterprise comprised of NNSA laboratories, plants, and test sites.
This is a full-time contractor-support position located on-site at the Department of Energy, NNSA offices in Washington DC.
Active DOE Q and/or DOD TS clearance
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, engineering-related, or science/engineering discipline.
Minimum of 8 years of supply chain management or related program analysis experience including in part such functions as project reporting, program analysis, and strategic planning.
Experience with DOE, DoD, or defense contractors.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite particularly MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel including expertise with pivot tables.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in developing briefings for senior and executive management.
Desired Education, Experience, and Skills:
MBA or Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited university.
Staff experience in military, government or corporate enterprise; interagency experience.
Nuclear weapon program experience.
Knowledge of earned value management and program management professional/scheduling tools and techniques a plus. (Microsoft® Project, Primavera Project Planner etc.)
