Job Description:
Leidos has an opening for a Developer for a program developing a high profile enterprise Entitlement Management (EM) system. This position is located in Reston, Virginia and requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance in order to be considered.
This Software Developer should be an expert with writing java and JavaScript user interface code, should have a strong understanding of how to interface code with RESTful Application Program Interfaces (API), and working on Agile Development teams. Work involves web development technologies to include Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Responsibilities will include designing, developing, and implementing a subsystem application that interfaces with downstream and other enterprise systems/services.
Mandatory Skills:
Requires BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or another related technical field.
Demonstrated experience developing with Java and JavaScript (JS) Frameworks.
Demonstrated experience with AWS Services: Elasticsearch, ElasticCache, RDS.
Demonstrated experience with relational database platforms such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL or SQL Server.
Desired Skills:
Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies.
Demonstrated experience scripting with one or more of the following: Angular, AngularJS, Vue or React.
Demonstrated experience with Oracle or Similar Technologies.
Demonstrated experience with AWS and DevOps.
Demonstrated on-the-job experience developing or consuming micro-services.
Demonstrated experience using Linux or Unix operating systems.
