Job Description:
The Government Health and Safety Solutions Operation is seeking a Financial Logistics Specialist to work in our Atlanta office in support of the Government Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) - Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Group.
Primary Responsibilities
Be primarily responsible for overall acquisition and budget planning for the Logistics Branch of the Program. Prepare budget and management reports, coordinating all procurement and acquisition related activities. Provide key recommendations and technical expertise in the areas of procurements, acquisitions, and supply chain logistics from a finance and accounting standpoint. Provide branch and division level guidance when budgetary shortfalls/increases impact the financial planning activities of the organization. Perform reconciliations between procurement (goods/services) related transactions and invoice payments to outside entities. Review, update, and edit SOPs which effect and control the procurement and acquisitions processes. Maintain the complete systems procurements & acquisitions process to include but not limited to: Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Receiving, Invoicing, Credit Cards, and Interagency Agreements. Confirm proper tracking and accountability of all procurement & acquisition related transactions within the enterprise resource planning system for the division. Support the Division Procurement & Acquisition Efforts during a National Emergency Response Effort. Work with individuals at all levels within the organization as well as external constituents and partners to perform the duties above.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree and 2 years of experience:
Logistics experience
Financial experience
Preferred Qualifications
Advance Knowledge in excel
Knowledge in medical logistics
Knowledge in Microsoft Office suites to include Access
