Key Capabilities:

Leidos is looking for a high performing candidate to fill a position supporting the nation's nuclear deterrence mission with the Department of Energy (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) as a Curriculum Developer.  In this position you will assist our federal customer to ensure that training meets the needs of the Enterprise.  This is a full-time contractor-support position located based in Las Vegas, NV but may be accomplished remotely.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop training content that includes all DOE requirements (Instructor led (ILT), Web-based (WBT), On-The-Job (OJT)).

  • Analyze existing training content, working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), performing analysis on new courses and revisions.

  • Evaluate existing training development processes, content, and tools looking for ways to streamline.

  • Develop training content that includes all DOE requirements (Instructor led (ILT), Web-based (WBT), On-The-Job (OJT)).

  • Analyze existing training content, working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), performing analysis on new courses and revisions.

  • Evaluate existing training development processes, content, and tools looking for ways to streamline.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires a BA degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience can be used in lieu of degree

  • 5 years minimum applying Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) methodologies such as ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, etc.

  • 2 years recent experience developing Web-Based Training (WBT) using Storyline (3 or 360) and/or Captivate.

  • 2 years minimum working remotely. Intermediate level user of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Windows 10.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud; familiarity with document management systems (iCon, EDMS, etc.); Online time keeping tools (Oracle, SAP CATS, PeopleSoft, etc.); SharePoint intranet site usage; and proven ability to follow documented development standards, a plus.

  • Ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of an active DoD TS or S clearance or possession of a current DOE Q clearance.
