Leidos currently has an opening for a Network Architect to provide network design support to the General Services Administration (GSA) Office of Digital Infrastructure Technologies (DIGIT) mission.

This position is a 100% telework opportunity and we are seeking candidates from across the contiguous United States.

This position requires the ability to pass a Public Trust background investigation to access government facilities and systems. Per the contract, U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder status is required.
 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.

• Performing network modeling, analysis, and planning. May also design network and computer security measures.

• Researching and recommending network and data communications hardware and software.

• Assisting in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.

• Conducting computer network support development and performance evaluation reviews. Identify, develop, and update operational support standards and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field, and an understanding of the software development lifecycle, and DevOps toolsets/practices

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Certifications and/or experience with any of the following will be viewed favorably:

• Google Cloud Professional Collaboration Engineer certification

• Agile Scrum certification

• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification

• Working knowledge of ITIL 4

• Experience with issue/problem tracking systems

• Experience working in an Agile development environment and tempo

• Experience in a DevOps environment.
