Leidos’s Federal Health Operation currently has an opening for a CHCS/AHLTA System Administrator/Sustainment Floater. Location will be based on applicant and applicant’s location at MTF (Military Treatment Facility).
This position can be located at any US military base located in the continental United States that has Leidos CHCS/AHLTA Sustainment staff onsite. Travel will be approximately 25% of the time and will consist of travel to other Military Treatment Facilities to provide backfill and/or training support as needed.
As a sustainment floater, staff will be responsible for backfilling vacant sites preforming all management of the systems supported under this contract, and training staff in the administration of CHCS, AHLTA, COPATH and other MHS systems to include performance monitoring, downtime reporting, and timely escalation of site issues. Communicate with external Leidos and government customer resources for planned site activities and implementation actions. Assist with implementation activities. Coordinate system availability and preventive maintenance of systems, including system peripherals. Manage the overall installation and maintenance of hardware and software on a daily basis. Ensure IAVAs are updated as required and data integrity is protected. Maintain site inventory/assets, respond to equipment repair requirements, and manage warranty and maintenance issues. Monitor overall system performance. Oversee daily operations of system at customer site to ensure system availability. May assist in troubleshooting LAN/WAN network communications operations, hardware and application software. Track trouble calls and process performance reports. Ensure on-site capability to accomplish routine backups and recovery processes. Regularly interact with customer and/or functional area managers. Assist District Managers (DM) with customer service site issues. Provide remote site support and/or mentoring to site staff. This position will involve some after-hours and on-call support.
Relocation is not available.
Salary Range is from $31.25 to $36.06 p/hr
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5+ years of general experience as it relates to principal duties and responsibilities. Six (6) years of general experience as it relates to principal responsibilities and duties is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. Strong knowledge of Composite Health Care System (CHCS) is required.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of CHCS System Administration and CHCS Functionalities. Understanding of AHLTA applications and platform. Experience with inpatient COPATH application. General knowledge of Windows server platforms and Virtual System environments. Able to communicate effectively (both written & verbal) with broad audience to include senior government officials, medical professionals and highly specialized technical personnel. Must be a self -starter, able to work independently, able to adapt to working in a fast paced high workload environment. Must currently possess CompTIA Security+ Certification.
