The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Part-Time Contracts Representative to work in a customer facility in Arlington, VA. This program requires a seasoned, mature professional with prior experience working in government contracts and in handling sensitive information. Primary duties include providing compliance oversight and day-to-day management of active contracts. This person can work a flexible schedule of 24 total hours worked in any combination of days during the work week, Mon-Fri but since it is a secure space, this person needs to have the ability to work during regular daytime business hours to get access.
Responsible for government contract administration and oversight.
Responsible for the contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract requirements, procedures, and applicable laws.
Multi-task and prioritized work activities in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
Identify and mitigate contract risks as well as coordinate appropriate reviews in accordance with policies and procedures.
Must have strong analytical, business process analysis, and problem solving capabilities.
Provide briefings to senior level managers quickly and thoroughly with minimal preparation and be able to react to a highly fluid environment.
Must have a TS/SCI security clearance.
Typically requires a BA degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience.
Knowledge of and/or experience with Special Operations Command is a plus.
