The Leidos Innovations Center currently has an opening for a Systems Integration and Test Engineer, with space experience, in Southern California. This is an exciting opportunity to use your systems engineering and test experience to support the design and development of new space sensing capabilities on a variety of programs. We are looking for candidates that want to shape the future of space platforms in support of missile warning, missile defense, technical intelligence, battlespace awareness and civil/environmental applications of infrared technologies and software solutions. Experience with MBSE is essential along with hands-on experience with performance, environmental and system level testing. Experience with product assembly and system certification is desirable. Primary Responsibilities

Support the Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) Lead in executing the program’s integration and test tasks, including: requirements analysis, test case and procedure development, trade studies and analyses, verification definition, problem diagnosis and solution design, and related activities. As a member of the AI&T team, the I&T engineer must be able to adapt quickly to obstacles and changing demands as well as evaluate systems and make recommendations for improvements and solutions.

The successful candidate will interface with customers and subcontractors (or vendors), communicating the requirements and timeline for their system test program. Ability to clearly communicate concepts using both written and oral methods is essential. Will work with a diverse team to ensure projects are completed effectively and efficiently.

Basic Qualifications

Typically requires BS degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 -10 years of prior relevant experience.

May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience at Space and Missile Systems Center, NRO or NASA/NOAA desired.  Product development, integration, qualification, launch and early operational experience desired.  CAMEO with MBSE experienced desired. Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance and TS/SCI clearance desired.
