Job Description:
Leidos is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support our 24/7 operations team at a customer site in Augusta, Ga. Typical work schedule is Monday, Thursday, and Friday 0730 am to 3:30 pm and Tuesday and Wednesday 0500 am to 3:30 pm; various hours may be required based on business demand.
This position’s primary function is to oversee the 24/7 watch floor and acts as liaison between Leidos staff, subcontractors and the customer. In addition, this position will provide the Operations and Maintenance teams with oversight in Maximo.
Experience working with a CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) is required, as is the ability to create spreadsheets and power point presentations and the ability to create and present planning/scheduling metrics to management staff. Successful candidates demonstrate the ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced industrial, large commercial or logistics environment.
Essential Functions:
Oversee 24/7 watch team and Industrial Control Systems (ICS). Team will consist of four Facilities Watch Officers (FWO’s), one Building Automation Systems Technician, and one Maintenance Scheduler.
Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor and the Maintenance Scheduler to properly plan work orders including material management and customer communication.
Utilize CMMS (Maximo) to record work order classification, priority, activities and trade.
Analyze and report data on Demand and PM Work Orders such as: overdue, backlog, received/ completed statistics and additional reports as requested for monthly reporting to the Operations and Maintenance Manager.
Work with the Supervisors and Procurement to ensure accurate and timely communication with the requestor(s) regarding status of work orders such as: awaiting parts, on hold, or that have been rescheduled
Work with production control team to ensure timely and accurate vendor support.
Generate and modify the FSC schedule each quarter that shows available manpower for the period.
Provide recommendations with regards to facilities equipment and utility systems maintenance programs.
Comply with established safety and environmental procedures
Adjust to changing conditions and occasionally work second shift, holidays, and weekends as required
Perform under minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment in problem resolution
Respond to emergency calls (by phone or in person) during off-hours and determine resources needed to mitigate problem (Leidos or subcontractor)
Other duties as assigned by Management or Lead.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
3-5 years of maintenance experience in a facilities maintenance environment.
Experience with a CMMS such as MAXIMO is preferred.
Qualified applicants offered a position must be able to obtain site specific security access including all applicable background checks (TS/SCI security clearance required).
Must have a valid Driver's license
Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience with a CMMS such as MAXIMO, EAMS or other database systems.
Experience in technical maintenance related to facilities maintenance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (including Outlook, Word, and Excel).
Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude with an understanding of critical systems supporting the facilities maintenance, such as HVAC, chillers, electrical components, and plumbing.
Experience in employee and subcontracted work coordination in a predictive and reliability-based facility maintenance program.
Experience working with a building management monitoring system.
Other Attributes:
May be required to work overtime, variable shifts and 24-hour/7 days a week on-call as needed.
