The Leidos AIE team has an opening for a Project Manager for Sustainment that is a direct report to the Program Manager. Our home base and this position are in Edgewood MD which houses the program team, warehouse operations, system integration lab, 24x7 Help Desk operation, engineering center and full-scale replicas of ACS for installations to include ACP/Lanes and the Visitor Control Center.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
This position is responsible for the Contractor Logistics Support and Sustainment phase of all o four Program Delivery Orders supporting all of the 95+ AIE sites and effort. Responsible for performing tasks relating to AIE program management including preparation of CDRLs, management and Service Level Agreements for our 24x7 Tier 1 Help Desk and our Tier 2 team composed on SMEs. The PM for Sustainment will work directly with the Government Manager for Logistics and Sustainment to ensure that all program requirements are met and to ensure the establishment of a solid working relationship and collaboration. The PM for Sustainment will also provide input and brief during the monthly IPRs with the Government the status of our sustainment support, CDRLs, trouble tickets and costs that impact remediation and repair actions. The position requires the interfacing with Government personnel to ensure that all required documents are delivered on time and accounted for. Additionally the PM for Sustainment will follow-up with Government personnel as to the disposition of all sustainment activities in particular trouble tickets. This position is a very visible position and is our “face to the installation POCs” during CLS. The PM for Sustainment is also responsible for not only scheduling and SLA but also performing duties as a leader of people to maintain costs so that the CLS team does not exceed the thresholds established by the Program Manager.
- Must be a US Citizen and possess or be eligible for a Secret clearance.
- Must have a Bachelors Degree; additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Must have 5+ years of experience including experience and knowledge of working in a program team and providing support across the team.
- Must have a desire to learn and work within a team environment
Some local travel may be required to support the mission needs and requirements.
- Experience and familiarity in using Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint.
- Experience with Access Control Systems
- Experience in working on large (>$75M) fixed price Army Programs
- Experience in working and managing trouble ticket systems for operational system
