Job Description:

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Program Manager for the Command and Control Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C2ISR) Division. This position will support the division through focused leadership and support of programs that are critical to the success of the division’s strategy to continue to solidify its position as a preferred software engineering and product provider to the Services and COCOMS, an expand into adjacent federal and international markets. The individual will provide senior management and technical oversight for these efforts, as well as provide input into associated business development activities (including strategy development).  The individual will work directly for the division manager in implementation of strategic guidance in execution of these programs. This position will include supervisory responsibilities for 7-10 senior program managers and senior engineers.  Additionally, the individual will support cross-enterprise collaboration efforts and will be expected to interface with internal and external leadership at all levels. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct portfolio management, program management, capture management across the Tactical Solutions portfolio of business.

  • Responsible for supervision of Program Management, Engineering, and support staff including personnel planning, hiring, management to achieve business objectives and provide mentoring to staff.

  • Perform General Manager for Littleton, Colorado site duties.

  • Experience in managing large, complex programs across multiple contract types and arrangements (i.e. FFP, CPFF, T&M, OTA, IR&D, Subcontract).

  • Experience in managing large subcontract and procurement efforts across multiple contract types and arrangements including Department of Defense programs of record.

  • Experience in leading international business capture and program execution efforts.

  • Experience developing and managing portfolios including program execution, capture pipeline, internal research & development (IR&D), Cooperative Research and Development (CR&D) arrangements.

  • Lead marketing and communications efforts across the portfolio including representing Leidos at large industry events including tradeshows, industry days, and Contractor/supplier events.

  • Collaborate with Business Development and Strategy to develop and execute business strategy.


  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.

  • 12+ years’ related experience in Program Management and Portfolio Management.

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Business.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • Experience in leading a portfolio of programs, captures, IR&D, CR&D across the Special Operations Forces community and Army, Air Force, Navy, USMC, Federal Agencies space.

  • Solution Architect experience.

  • Experience leading Waterfall, Agile/Iterative Development efforts.

  • Background in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering.
