Leidos has a career opening for an Lead Supplier Relationship Manager located in Reston, VA or Gaithersburg, MD area.
JOB SUMMARY:
The job of the Lead Supplier Relationship Manager is to serve as Enterprise level subject matter expert for multiple Strategic Sourcing initiatives utilizing a combination of technical background and project management expertise. Work location is flexible, but selected candidates must reside within driving distance of Reston, VA. Due to nature of assignments, up to 25% travel is possible.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Serves as an Lead Supplier Relationship Manager in the Strategic Technology Sourcing organization with oversight of numerous HW, SW, Cloud & Cyber OEM’s.
-This role will also have job responsibilities associated with Supplier Management, Proposal Strategy Development, Program Material Acquisition, Business Process Re-Engineering, and Procurement Tool deployments
-Leads in collaboratively solving problems in Cost/Value Engineering, Affordability, and Technical Solutions
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and 8+ years of professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment. Additional years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
-5+ years- experience in areas of project planning, scheduling, coordination, with a demonstrated history of developing technical solutions that meet program requirements.
-Must possess IT Background, Supplier Management, Material Pricing, Project Planning, and Proposal Strategy Experience.
-Strong understanding in acquisition of Cloud, Cyber, and XaaS technologies
-Selected candidate must have history of developing BOMs, ROMs, and resource planning.
-Experience with supplier coordination including hardware and software selection, maintenance issues, and problem resolution.
-Experience interfacing across multiple organizations and program levels.
-Ability to work under tight time constraints.
-Experience as a Team Lead/Leader in prior relevant prior assignment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-PMP, Supply Chain Engineering, Logistics, HW/SW Maintenance Planning, Earned Value Management, and Proposal Volume Authorship Experience.
-Experience in inventory planning, coordination, and tracking a plus.
-Multi-tasking, can handle multiple program interfaces simultaneously with minimal supervision.
-Demonstrated experience interfacing across multiple organizations and program levels.
