Job Description:
Leidos currently has an opening for an IT Help Desk Technician III to support the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) DIGIT program. The DIGIT program provides modernization of Infrastructure Technology for the Digital Innovation of General Services Administration (GSA).
This position requires in-office support at the customer site.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance to computer users. Answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients in person, via telephone, or electronically.
Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
Training other staff members on troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
Writing, editing, and revising training manuals for new and updated software and hardware.
Basic Qualifications:
Generally requires a high school diploma and 4 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree.
Experience in a technical-driven enterprise environment.
Experience in an Agile development environment.
Experienced with a large enterprise project.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Working knowledge of ITIL 4.
Preferred Qualifications:
Agile Scrum certification.
Experience in a DevOps environment.
This position requires the ability to pass a Public Trust background investigation to access government facilities and systems. Per the contract, U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder status is required.
