The National Solutions Operation (NSO) Program Execution team has a Program Excellence / Program Execution Intern Support position open for a self-disciplined and motivated individual. Depending on the pandemic status, this position will be a remote position with possible onsite work in the Chantilly, VA at a later time. This is a great opportunity for a college student with IT or Business background who wants to contribute to process improvement to support an Operation with more than 70 active programs across the Intel space during their college breaks. The position will support the Program Execution Lead with a process improvement initiative across all active programs.
A successful candidate will follow simple Skills & Tasks:
Follows established processes and checklists.
Assist more senior level manager in their program execution program excellence activities.
Complete weekly tasks independently while contributing to process improvement discussions.
Extensive reporting with MS Excel (i.e. pivot tables, templates, data filtering and formatting).
Primary Responsibilities:
Run various weekly/bi-weekly/monthly MS Excel reports on program execution across the Operation and support the program execution lead in analyzing the data.
Support process improvement discussions with Operation and Group level program execution leads and manager to drive more efficient processes
Provide daily ad-hoc support to the program execution lead. Actions Items and daily activities will change based on priorities.
Basic Qualifications:
Current enrollment in a Bachelor's granting program
US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED per contract
Proficient with Windows version of MS Excel (i.e. pivot tables, templates, data filtering and formatting)
Basic understanding of program management / program execution
Self-starter who takes initiative while seeking guidance as needed; requires moderate guidance and direction from more senior level management
