Job Description:

Leidos is in search of a J3 Task Flow Manager at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Candidates must possess a current TS/SCI in order to be considered.

Primary Responsibilities

This challenging and high-tempo position requires an innovative candidate to perform a variety of executive level administrative duties as part of a small team with minimal supervision in a challenging and complex environment. 

 Duties and activities will include, but are not limited to the full range of executive administrative services for Flag Officer and Senior AF Civilian Personnel.  The candidate must be able to discern applicability of all tasks to/from their customers and should be prepared to act on their customer’s behalf regarding suspense of tasks from higher headquarters. This candidate must have strong interpersonal communications skills and understand the various staff actions to include AF FORM 1768, Electronic Staff Summary Sheet (E-SSS). The candidate must be proficient in proofing correspondence from the Operations Directorate to subordinate organizations and strict adherence to customer requirements and attention-to-detail are critical requirements for this position. This candidate will be required to collaborate with other directorates within 16AF Headquarters to ensure quality and timeliness of tasks are complete. The candidate is expected to be proficient in all aspects of the Microsoft Suite across three different systems (NIPR, SIPR and JWICS) and should be familiar with Task Management Tool (TMT) process as a means to execute tasks. Though Microsoft TMT is not specifically utilized, being familiar with TMT process flow and terminology is critical to the ensuring the organizations internal Task Management process. Additionally, this candidate should be familiar with fiscal planning and resource management. Specifically the consolidation and formatting of Program Objective Memorandums (POM), and drafting/review of Unfunded Requirements Requests (URR/UFR). The candidate will leverage network and resources to accomplish objectives effectively, participate in or lead team initiatives, as needed, and take initiative to improve operations and office best practices within established guidelines.


  • Current TS/SCI Clearance on day 1

  • Experience with computer software, including the Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and the Task Management Tool

  • 10 years of specialized administrative support experience (4 years of which are in an increasingly responsible nature at a senior level as an Executive Assistant, Executive Officer or Commander’s Action Group (CAG)

  • Previous experience working with/for General Officers, their Civilian equivalents and subordinate Field Grade Officers/Civilians

  • Must possess excellent communications skills to critically review, independently edit, format and synthesize various types of input (verbal, notes, emails, drafts) into a cohesive document or correspondence in accordance with the Air Force Tongue and Quill and other format policies, including military technical documents such as point papers, policies, and messages

  • Experience creating, facilitating and controlling task flow processes of confidential and sensitive information

  • Excellent written and oral skills are critical components of this position
