Leidos has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Help Desk Lead to work independently with minimal supervision leading the help desk team for the Infrastructure and Deactivation & Remediation contractors at the Paducah site as well as the DOE site office.
***Must be willing to work on site in Kevil, Ky.****
Primary Responsibilities
Define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects.
Lead a team of help desk technicians in providing technical assistance to computer users by answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients in person, via telephone, or electronically.
Determine, track, and provide metrics concerning issues, problems, and work orders.
Training other staff members on troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
Provide daily network status reports to the IT team
Provide weekly functional area reports summarizing work accomplished, work planned in next week and important issues occurring during the week
Basic Qualifications
Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of prior relevant experience.
Demonstrated success improving, optimizing, standardizing, and streamlining customer support processes
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat, Windows 10 and 7 operating systems, and Windows server operating systems,
Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience and proven success implementing changes, processes, and standards to improve an enterprise-wide service desk.
