Leidos has an opening for a Technical Development System Engineer (SE) for a program developing a user-friendly GUI interface for a replacement of a heavily used entitlement management system. This position is located in Northern Virginia and requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance in order to be considered.
This SE is responsible for bringing together component subsystems into a whole and ensuring that those subsystems function together. The SE will operate and maintain the system servers on Amazon Web Services technologies, assist with deployments of code, solve issues of automation for project infrastructure provisioning; Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards; Monitor metrics; and support the systems DevOps.
The SE will also assist with proving Instructor classroom training and technical desk side instruction; Update and implement course design improvements based on course assessments; Provide technical guidance and education on deployment and operations; and Teach personnel in a variety of learning formats including workshops, seminars and formal classroom instruction.
- Requires BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
-Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with DevOps such as Jira, Confluence, Maven, Jenkins, RunDeck, and Git.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience Instructor classroom training and technical desk side instruction.
- Demonstrated experience with working with ELK stack.
- Demonstrated experience working with Application Program Interfaces (APIs).
-Demonstrated experience with MySQL or Similar Technologies.
-Understanding of Entitlement Management and workflow design.
