Job Description:
The Government Health and Safety Solutions Operation is hiring for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Center for Information Technology (CIT)’s Network Services (NS) and Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC) contracts in the Bethesda/Rockville areas of MD.
This program provides operations and maintenance (O&M) support for network systems and devices required to provide secure and always-on infrastructure services in a 24x7 environment including, change management, Unified Communication and cybersecurity.
CIT provides cost effective computer services, technical advice and collaboration in the computational sciences in support of the research and management programs of NIH. CIT operates and maintains the Enterprise Network that provides network services for more than 45,000 users in NIH, HHS, and other Government agencies.
The Enterprise Network Service is supported by systems from Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, Science Logic and a variety of other vendors. Additionally, CIT provides the following services Hosting, Business Application, Facilities, Unified Communications and Collaboration, Desktop Support, Helpdesk, Identity and Access Management services needed to provide comprehensive Information Technology (IT) services.
Network Services (NS) is a Service Area within the CIT that operates and manages the state-of-the art network infrastructure 24 hours per day 7 days a week for the NIH community. NS is comprised of the following four sections – Operations, Architecture, Security and Program Management.
CIT Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC) Service directs the engineering, design, implementation, and operation support of NIH enterprise UCC infrastructure including voice, IM/Presence, video streaming, conferencing, web conferencing and collaboration, and messaging infrastructure services for the NIH to facilitate the use of scientific, administrative, and other business applications.

Minimum Qualifications:
Various levels of roles will be filled, all roles require the minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field and at least 5 to 8 years related technical experience
