Leidos, located in Vista currently has an opening for a Material Control Specialist. This opening will allow you to use your warehouse knowledge and organizational skills in helping our organization achieve an impeccable inventory accuracy, resolve issues and provide overall team support in order to accomplish our goal of providing on-time delivery to our customers.
Provide support and troubleshooting towards any inventory related issues until a conclusion is accomplished
Prepare material for Manufacturing in a timely manner to achieve a successful build time
Ensure all material is identified with part number and quantity and put away in the correct stock location.
Perform cycle counts on a daily basis, resolving any discrepancies with urgency
Log and transact any material movements.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
High school education or equivalent and 3+ year of related experience.
Organized, Team Player, Inventory Control, Time Management
Data Entry, Dependable, Commitment
Ability to achieve and maintain a Forklift Operator License
Prior use of warehouse management systems
