We are seeking a Field Engineer Technician to provide field inspections of utility poles throughout the CT area. Hours could range from part time to full time.
Successful candidate will travel around the CT area taking pictures of utility poles and collecting field data.
- Associates Of Science (preferably engineering) from an accredited college or university. Bachelors of Science (preferably engineering) is preferred, with 0-2 years of relevant experience. Additional relevant experience, may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Candidates must be able to work in both team and independent environments and to organize work to meet deadlines.
- Candidates must be able to walk at least one mile, swing a 3lb hammer, and execute field work on a daily basis
- Ability to utilize personal vehicle, cell phone and 8MP camera
- Must be local to the area. Will be working remotely, out of your home, and will be reimbursed for mileage.
Hours could range from part time to full time.
The mileage and hours vary depending on the work provided from the client.
Protective equipment provided; hard hat, EH rated boots, safety glasses, high visibility vest.
