Job Description:

The NISC IV Program within the Leidos Civil group is looking for an experienced professional eLearning Developer for Video Production.  

Will work with the senior instructional designer and internal content stakeholders to identify and define training requirements.  Design, develop, and deliver/implement innovative and creative microlearning video solutions utilizing a variety of methods and eLearning authoring tools (advanced Articulate Storyline 360 and Vyond experience is required).  Create templates, storyboards, scripts, multimedia, narration, graphics, animations and interactive simulations (video production and post-production audio and video editing).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design digital online training that creatively achieves its intended outcomes while using adult learning principles.  
  • Propose, design, develop, and deliver/implement a wide variety of microlearning video solutions that range from industry standard to creative, new approaches.
  • Work independently while regularly collaborating with the senior instructional designer, subject matter experts, and project stakeholders.  
  • Maintain existing training video content updates through rapid upgrade cycles. Follow FAA and federal government instructional design standards, processes, and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.

  • Documented training and proven experience using Articulate Storyline 360, Captivate, Vyond, and Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects)

  • 5 years of experience in video development

  • Experience in converting courses from Adobe Flash to HTML5 format.

  • Expert knowledge of instructional design methodology, in particular ADDIE and rapid prototyping models.

  • Expert knowledge of instructional theories, educational psychology, and educational theory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting FAA or other Federal Government agencies.

  • Ability to teach and mentor others.

  • Ability to manage knowledge sharing environments.

  • Strong interpersonal and teaming skills.
