SUMMARY:

Responsible for leading the manufacturing / assembly team for the Pro-Passage Product Range, schedule management and direct liaison with all essential internal departments, supply base and Customer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Technical

  • Mechanical

Time Management

  • Must have good time management, lead by example and be willing to work overtime when required to ensure the delivery of the project.

  • Timesheet Management

  • Time Management of Subordinates

Communication

  • Continuous communication horizontally and vertically across the organisation

Team Working

  • Build a strong team work ethic to ensure delivery of projects to schedule

Cross Functional Working

  • Continually build relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve the successful completion of projects

  • Direct Liaison with essential departments – Programme Leads, Project Managers, Engineering Team and Supply Chain Management

  • Always follow and promote Group and Company policies and procedures 

  • Ensure all Company equipment and personal PPE properly used

  • High Level of competence across the Microsoft Office Suite of Programs including: - Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint & Project

Experience

  • Proven experience of successfully delivering projects on time

  • Previous experience in a similar working environment

  • Application of ISO 9001 QA Systems

  • Proven experience of developing work instructions and managing a team

  • Experience of Automated Tray Return Systems

  • Wide ranging technical background

  • Previous experience in all or some of the following areas: 

    • Automation

    • Automotive manufacturing

    • Aerospace manufacturing

    • Mechanical/material handling

    • Conveyor systems

    • Control systems

Qualifications

  • FLT Licence

  • First Aid Qualification

  • GSCE - Minimum of Grade C in English, Maths and Science or equivalent
