Job Description:

The Leidos Defense Group has a Sensor Grid Management Site Lead position available in Chambersburg PA that supports the DISA GSM-O Task Order 09 Network Assurance (NA) Program.  Position has oversight of the Sensor Grid Management, SharePoint Development and Configuration Management and Deployment Teams for defensive cyber operations activities. This candidate will be expected to actively engage with a variety of customers, collaborating with them, anticipating their needs, and delivering flawlessly. Candidate must be able to partner successfully across multiple time zones working closely with TO29 Program Manager, Service Delivery Manager, and other task order leadership across all sites.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead (3) different teams with several areas of expertise on behalf of DISA Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) program.

  • Provide technical support to all aspects of the DISA sensor grid and net assurance operations.   

  • Through the use of SharePoint track and coordinates all new CSSP request (Traditional sensors, Cloud, MilCloud and Traditionally Hosted) subscribers to include terminations and migrations to JRSS.

  • Provide support and oversight for the certification and accreditation of the CISCO FirePOWER and Next Generation Sensors and maintain configuration control of all operational sensors.

  • Research circuit information in the World-Wide Online System (WWOLS), System/Network Approval Process (SNAP), and the SIPRNet GIAP System (SGS). These systems are used by the Connection Approval Office (CAO) to track and manage all DISN circuits.

  • Provide weekly activity reports, prepare and attend quarterly program reviews and a member of the CSSP Change Control Board (CCB).

  • Review and track sensor outages through Remedy.

  • Participate in working groups and attend weekly teleconference through Microsoft Teams.

  • Develop SOPs and TTPs to allow for a better, more consistent process.

  • Support mission-critical Continuity of Operations (COOP).

  • Train and mentor other team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must obtain a DoD-8570 IAM Level 2 baseline certification (CASP+, CISM, CISSP or equivalent) within 180 days of your start date.

  • Experience training, mentoring and assigning work to others. 

  • Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance.

  • Motivated self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 8+ yrs of professional experience; additional or equivalent experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.

  • Knowledge of Cyber Network Defense (CND) in regards to protect, detect, respond and sustain within a Computer Incident Response organization. 

  • Understanding of networking and sensor technologies.

  • Motivated self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DISA and DoD Networks.

  • Advanced Certifications such as SANS GIAC/GCIA/GCIH, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP or CASP.

  • Experience in intelligence driven defense.

  • Experience with DoD accreditation.
