Leidos Enterprise & Cyber Solutions Defense group is seeking a Database Analyst Journeyman to support our recently awarded SBNAB contract.  This position provides Systems Engineering technical expertise to C5ISR Center Sustaining Base Network Assurance Branch (SBNAB) Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Security Operations Center (SOC). This position works out of the Adelphi, MD location. You must hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance to qualify.

Primary Responsibilities

•    Perform database administration tasks including installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, tuning, and backup/recovery
•    Monitor data integrity, manage data cleaning/quality control, and perform data validation and integrity checks.
•    Write and manage complex SQL data queries, stored procedures, schema, trigger, etc. from end user requirements.
•    Maintain compliance with applicable security protocols.
•    Manage database logins/permissions and oversee database access.
•    Ensure database availability.
•    Consistently meet task deadlines while maintaining high quality of deliverables.
•    Promote adherence to database policies within the program.
•    Perform troubleshooting investigations of databases and coordinate resolution of problems.

•    Supports projects and provides or maintains documentation as required

Basic Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree and 4 to 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 to 6 years of prior relevant experience.
•    Must hold active Top Secret/SCI clearance
•    Must have a DoD-8570 IAT Level II baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) to start.
•    Must demonstrate the ability to interact and effectively communicate both written and orally with a wide variety of people.

•    Extensive experience with DoD and classified networks
•    Experience with RMF
•    Experience designing and managing high-availability services
•    Experience with enterprises to include LINUX and cloud technologies
•    Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
•    Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•    Ability to multi-task in a fast-pasted environment and to work independently
