Leidos has an opportunity for a 16AF J37/8 Training Manager at Lackland AFB, in San Antonio, TX.
This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Candidates must already possess a current TS/SCI clearance.
The candidate will develop training plans and concepts, track 16 AF personnel training status, coordinate with USCYBERCOM and Air Combat Command training leads to solidify command level training programs. They will coordinate with 16 AF Training Division level POCs to identify training opportunities and help define individual training plans. They will develop and present staff level training and plans and execute/facilitate training conferences as required. The candidate must be familiar with 16 AF administrative staffing processes. They will consolidate and produce Bi-Weekly activity reports (WARs), coordinate, synchronize, and integrate training with 16 AF Readiness, Stan Eval, Innovation, and Exercise Branches. The selected candidate should understand Joint and Service Training Policy and Guidance for Service Cyber and Information Warfare capabilities. They should be familiar with Joint and Service Information Warfare and Cyber training requirements.
Current TS/SCI Clearance on day 1.
Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant and demonstrated training experience (OR with an Associate's degree, 14+ years)
Certified in AETCs Basic Instructor Course (BIC) (highly desired)
Experience with Instructional Systems Design (ISD)
Experience working with MS Suite of tools
Experience supporting the ACC ISR enterprise
Prior experience assigned to HHQ (NAF and above)
Demonstrated experience with Combatant Command Structure, Authorities and Responsibilities
