The Security Detection and Automation Operation is comprised of four divisions to align with our customers’ missions and needs:

The Service Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing general administrative, clerical, and/or secretarial support to relieve department managers or staff of administrative details. Performs routine and non-routine tasks including special projects. May be responsible for scheduling and making arrangements for meetings, for researching and securing requested information, and for researching, compiling and proofing of various reports and studies. May take and/or transcribe confidential or technical information, take and distribute meeting minutes, order supplies, distribute mail, answer phones, respond to customer/client/employee inquiries, and other office administrative duties. Interacts with other support staff and departments to gather, supply, or coordinate information.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform numerous administrative activities for on onboarding field service technicians and staff technicians such as setup corporate accounts, ordering badges, phones, laptops, and other hardware.

  • Schedule travel and assist with creating and reviewing expense reports for department personnel.

  • Ship and receive tools, equipment, and office items such as radiation dosimeters to and from the field service team.

  • Assist the both service operation team and field management team with ad hoc service admin requirements.

  • Assist the service director with maintaining administrative reports on staffing and personnel such as phone lists, temporary contractor onboarding status reports, and other various service contractreporting requirements.

Basic Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1 – 3 years of prior relevant experience. Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold a valid sate driver’s license.

Ability to pass a TSA suitability background check.

Preferred Qualifications

Four plus years working in an engineering or technical office team.

Previous experience with CBP and TSA equipment maintenance programs involving computer tomography (CT) equipment and other non-intrusive X-ray inspection equipment or working directly with field technical or engineering groups.
