Leidos is hiring a Software Tester in Suitland, MD. All work is on site in Suitland; candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered.
Use experience and expertise in testing to develop , enhance and/or deliver written regression test procedures. Arrange test schedules for each Maritime Intelligence Environment product as required. Leverage testing expertise on complex multi-tiered web-based applications and use your excellent communication skills to provide test results to product stakeholder. Document test findings in test reports using software development management tools. Develop and deliver new or enhanced manuals, training materials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance analysts’ capabilities to conduct all-source maritime intelligence analysis. Use Agile/Scrum techniques as appropriate.
Active TS/SCI clearance
A+, Network+, Security+ or higher certification (or willingness to receive) prior to start
Active Scrum Master certification (or willingness to receive) prior to start
BS and 8+ years of relevant experience or MS and 6+ years of experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
Experience in requirements development including Verification & Validation support testing
Practical testing expertise to include use of software applications, system analysis, web-based application testing, data verification, and script verification
Ability to develop graphics for support documentation
Ability to conceptualize, discuss and define Navy Intelligence Technology requirements based on all-source analyst business practices
Experience in preparation of test plans, procedures and reporting tools.
Experience coordinating use-case testing with a team of users and effectively translating findings to developers and other non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledgeable in the use of Confluence, Jira, and associated Atlassian tool-suites.
