SUMMARY:

The full stack software engineering role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. The engineer will be responsible for enhancing and evolving the software solutions to meet the requirements of organisation.

The role requires a hands-on software engineer who cares deeply about both the technological and social aspects of developing and testing highly functional, solution-based software systems to a high standard. As a full stack software developer you will have an opportunity to work on projects involving

  • Big data and analytics using Apache Flink

  • Microservice architecture

  • Web applications showing real time analytics

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Technical

  • Building REST services using our enterprise framework to support the MIS data aggregations and dashboards

  • Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code

  • Design, develop and document SPA’s with backend REST services.

  • Building reusable packages and libraries for future use

  • Design develop and document data aggregation jobs

  • Unit testing using Junit or similar tool for data aggregations and REST services created.

  • Be responsible for creating innovative browser based solutions to enhance usability and help make the solution more visually appealing and.

  • Building reusable angular components and front-end libraries for future use

  • Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Time Management

  • Manage priorities within sprints and be able to seamlessly shift between multiple tasks

Communication

  • Work with multiple scrum teams and implementation team

  • Effective communication with stakeholders and other key personals in the business whenever needed

Team Working

  • Work with multiple teams based in different locations and time zones.

  • Collaborate closely with software developers and product engineers to ensure security principles are applied consistently throughout

Cross Functional Working

  • Continually build relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve the successful completion of projects

  • Angular 9+

  • SQL Server or Mongo DB

  • Front end development tools like NPM, Webpack etc.

  • Authentication tokens JWT etc.

  • RabbitMQ or Kafka messaging bus

  • Apache Flink

  • .Net Core

  • ASP.Net core SPA (Angular)

  • TFS or any other source control

  • HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap

  • Writing unit tests in C# and Angular using NUnit, jasmine, karma or any similar tools

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience of developing user friendly, secure, and scalable enterprise level software solutions

  • Experience in developing applications in Scala or Java.

  • Proficient knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns.

  • Experience in working with relational SQL and NoSQL databases like Mongo DB.

  • Preferable experience in working with APS.Net Core SPA applications.

  • Proven experience of successfully designing and developing REST APIs

  • Proven experience in developing re-usable Java libraries and packages.

  • Wide ranging technical background

  • Exposure to people screening processes and solutions

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent expertise in developing enterprise elvel software solutions.
