The Leidos Health Group is seeking to fulfill the requirement for a self-motivated and detail-oriented Epidemiologist, contingent upon contract award, to provide effective and innovative public health surveillance solutions for the CDC in Atlanta, GA.
Provide ad hoc analyses of complex survey data, analyses to support programmatic activities, and preparation of research papers or reports for publication and presentation. This project requires strong epidemiological, statistical, and SAS programming expertise, and experience in complex survey analysis using SAS.
Produce and review protocols for epidemiological studies, study protocols, and other data collection methods. Develop guidelines for consistency in reporting, and data management and collection. Write statistical code for analyses to support surveillance activities, and to provide expertise in data cleaning, and analyzing large datasets. This project requires strong epidemiological, statistical, data management and SAS programming expertise.This task requires 1) providing IRB support and approvals, 2) strong SAS skills; 3) orderly management of microcomputer files in a Windows environment to develop databases; 4) importing, exporting, and manipulating data files, including recoding, transforming, and creating variables to accommodate analytic needs; 5) develop manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication training and end-user support for tools and technologies being utilized by CDC, 6) performing other analytical and data related duties, as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, Biostatistics, or Math and 7 years of experience or MS, MPH, MSPH and 5 years of experience.
Experience with statistical data analysis and use of data analysis tools
Requires ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
