The NISC IV program is looking for a qualified Technical Analyst that will maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. This position will support the Federal Aviation Administration in Oklahoma City, OK at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center.
A successful Technical Analyst must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and be able to perform the following functions:
Provide support in the managing of computer operations on a large-scale computer system or a multi-server local area network and according to production schedules
Provide support with customers experiencing problems accessing or using computer resources as they apply to the radar training facility
Provide resolutions to routine non-technical problems following documented procedures and escalate issues as they arise to the correct personnel or group utilizing the current ticketing or tracking system
Provide support in the form of scanning student records and scoring academy block tests
Provide resolutions and/or coordinate the resolution of production-related issues utilizing established resources, vendors, and/or team members
Provide support in regularly scheduled backups for existing servers and workstations utilizing the current backup media
A bachelor’s degree in a related field and two (2) or more years of related experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
2 years of experience working in a helpdesk environment or technical computer support role.
Skilled in prioritization as well as documentation within a ticketing system.
