Support the overall business strategy for Leidos’ Procurement team by performing complex reporting and analysis of financial and operational data. Successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work across teams to overcome challenges and pursue objectives. Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills to manage time schedules and multiple priorities while maintaining productivity.
This position supports the Leidos Procurement & Enterprise Partnership team by
-Providing timely reports of vendor and category spend data
-Analyzing financial and operational data
-Developing metrics and benchmarking against industry
-Assisting with cost savings calculations
-Assisting in maintaining Procurement Performance Management Database
-Performing due diligence on suppliers
-Documenting standard operating procedures
-Recommending changes to improve efficiency and identify cost savings
-Preparing analysis for executive level briefings
-Bachelor's degree in supply chain, data analytics or related field and 2 plus years of relevant experience.
-High level of proficiency with MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and PowerPoint
-Experience analyzing large sets of data
-Experience implementing business process improvements
-Good interpersonal and relationship management skills
-Candidate must be well organized and detail oriented, have strong analytical skills, and is a team player.
-Self-starter with the ability to work independently
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly and effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals
