Job Description:

PMA-280 (Tomahawk Weapons System) is searching for a Senior Program Analyst to support the Missile Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT). All work is onsite in Patuxent River, MD. An active Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.

The candidate will provide program support to the IPT Lead and assist with actions that support the overall goals of the Program Office as well as facilitation of meetings and coordination of efforts of one or more program stakeholders. The candidate will provide critical support, guidance, and oversight pertaining to the production, recertification, sustainment, and integration of incremental capability upgrades to the Tomahawk missile program.

The functional description of the role includes the tasking identified below. Qualified candidates should have demonstrated experience that supports these actions. 


*Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. 
*Analyzes requirements, status, budgets, and schedules. 
*Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. 
*Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. 
*Tracks program/project status and schedules. 
*Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. 

Additional duties and responsibilities specific to the role include:

*Participates as a member of and/or supports the overall program and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
*Performs critical project management activities to include focus on cost, schedule and performance analysis and provides recommendations to ensure program success.   
*Collect, complete, organize and interpret contract deliverables to include financial information relating to acquisition programs.
*Tracks program/project status and schedules to include maintenance of the IPTs Integrated Government Schedule (IGS) and analyze Earned Value Management inputs from the Tomahawk prime contractor.
*Assists in creation, execution and maintenance of IPT budgets. Applies policies and procedures for financial planning.
*Utilizes NAVAIR tools to include Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT), Program Management Tool (PMT) and CDRL Tool to manage program and acquisitions.
*Assists in generation and maintenance of program risks.
*Coordinate with other PMA280 IPTs as required to execute program.

Basic Qualifications

Active Secret clearance 

MS/MA degree + 10 yrs of experience in program management OR BS/BA and 14 yrs of program management; additional years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree  

Preferred Qualifications
  
Demonstrated experience with AMS tools (CSPT, PMT, CDRL) and the MS Office Suite 

Ability to generate briefing packages and documents from a variety of sources and tools.
