Job Description:
Leidos is seeking a C-130 Propulsion Technician with knowledge of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) C-130 engines and propulsion systems. The C-130 Propulsion Technician will be part of the Contractor Engineering and Technical Support team in support of a US Air Force Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is a one-year assignment with option to renew. Assignment location may be one of seven locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia per the Performance Work Statement.
Primary Responsibilities
•Senior level of inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing for C-130 propulsion system.
•Train RSAF personnel on propulsion system.
•Track and maintain C-130 Propulsion system in GOLDesp.
•Evaluate analytical possibilities and methods for solutions for the 54H60 and T56/D22A engines.
•Troubleshoot Hamilton Standard Electronic Propeller control system.
•Inspect completed work by technicians for quality.
•Engine run-ups on test cell and maintenance.
•APU/GTC run-up on test cell.
•Modify and maintain APU/GTC system for the C-130 E/H aircraft.
Basic Job Qualifications
Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and twelve (12) years of directly related experience; OR BA/BS degree and fifteen (15) years of directly related experience; OR twenty (20) years of directly related experience with proper certification(s).
•Propulsion Specialized Certificate or equivalent
•GACA certification
•Rolls Royce/ Allison T56/A15 and 501-022A test cell run up certified
•Quality inspector certified
•MIRO GOLDesp certified
•Hamilton Standard Electronic Propeller control system
•Fluent English speaking and writing.
•Able to create statistical analysis and technical reports.
•Minimum of five (5) years maintenance experience on the 54H60 and T56/D22A propulsion system.
•Efficient in inspecting, servicing, and maintaining the 54H60 and T56/D22A propulsion system.
•Effective Communication skills.
•Knowledgeable on RSAF C-130 aircraft documentation & manuals.
•Knowledgeable and able to troubleshoot the 54H60 and T56/D22A propulsion and Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) system
Preferred Qualifications
•Must be able to demonstrate past examples of cultural adaptability and ability to establish a trusted professional relationship with an international customer.
•Arabic language proficiency.
