Job Description:

Adhering to process and procedural directives, candidates will deliver high quality support to individuals and technical teams in order to facilitate the timely resolution of assignments and meet Service Level Agreements. Contributing to continuous service and quality improvement initiatives will be vital while working as a member of the Service Operations team.

Specific Functions:
The position will assist in delivering the Program Management Office with working with our Logistics team within an operational IT Program all procurement activities for the program. The candidate will be involved in various activities within PMO procurement processes; inventory management, administrative and logistic support, tracking and delivering, and assume primary duties within the scope of integration activities and program support.  The main support will be for Bill of Material creation, tracking, and delivery and other ad hoc duties that support this function.  
We seek to someone willing to perform multiple functions, willingness to cross train, and apply their skills in multiple arears. This particular position will work in a warehouse environment, principally responsible in maintaining oversight of data transfers, shipments and asset management transactions. At times, this position may need to travel to other warehouse facilities and deliver material 


  • Interface effectively with the NGA Service Desk, Customer, ITEMS UFS teams, Analysts, Project Managers and other Service Providers

  • Create Bill of Materials purchase requests and ensuring they are 100% accurate for submission to the Government  PMO for approval

  • Interface with the Leidos Procurement team on gathering quotes and adhering to all Leidos Procurement Activity Policies

  • Triage and if possible resolve incident and service requests coming from NGA Service Desk

  • Route incidents and service requests to appropriate ITEMS UFS service queues

  • Support request fulfillment management, event management, and incident management in coordination with internal teams and the Government Program Management Office.

  • This includes coordination to create or modify ticket workflows within Service+ to support UFS

  • Manage ITEMS UFS incident, escalations and request fulfilment queues to ensure SLA are met

  • Manage multiple work queues and assume responsibility for adhering to quality control practices

  • Raise, update and resolve specific UFS ticket types under direction from Operations Management 

  • Contribute to monitoring the various channels of NGA communications 

  • Perform day to day inventory management: 

  • Scanning all received material and ensure it is uploaded into required database 

  • Perform duties related to asset; coordination, verification, data input and inventory management.

  • Track received items and inventory in the asset management database

  • Ensure all work conforms to required U.S. Government and Department of Defense rules and requirements, NGA policies and regulations, and Leidos Regulations

  • Contribute to business improvement initiatives

  • Ensure adherence to processes by employees for IT Support

  • Other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of prior experience within logistics or any equivalent TS-SCI program

  • ***TS/SCI with ability to obtain poly***

  • Basic computer skills to include the use of data base systems and MS Office

Education & Experience:

  •  Requires Bachelors Degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.

  • Experience in lieu of degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of prior experience in warehouse operations and inventory management

  • 2-4 years in any equivalent TS-SCI program

  • Knowledge of ITSM ticket systems (ServiceNow and reporting functionality)

  • Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a ‘can-do’, pro-active, approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve Leidos’ objectives. 

  • Some experience with relevant ITSM technologies and the NGA environment

  • Some understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management, Request Fulfilment, and Release and Deployment processes

  • Demonstrated ability in following direction and working as part of a team of professionals, with particular experience working within Project lifecycles

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently produce excellent results in a complex environment

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate successfully with internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience in adapting to new technologies rapidly.
